I’ve been reflecting on #PokémonPokopia this afternoon, as I’m not sure of the best way to describe it. It’s not really Animal Crossing - the experience is much more guided. It’s not really Minecraft - the gating and restrictions limit the amount you can explore. But it uses those limitations to strengthen the design choices and improve accessibility.

First night of #PokémonPokopia, and it’s definitely got the ‘just one more task’ game hook. Finally managed to pull myself away after hitting a significant milestone and getting a 5% battery warning.
