On Saturday the club hosted a single header Bristol & District Men's league 2 match where our team played Weston Pal. Despite playing against a strong opposition, that didn't stop our team from fighting for every point. Although they lost 2:0 the team worked hard & were consistent. MVP goes to Przemek, for the consistently good defense & net play. #volleyball #volleyballengland

Yesterday our SW Men hosted their final home match of the season against Bristol VC & Weymouth VC. 1st match of the day were Bristol who put up a tough fight in the 1st set (25-21) but then faded losing the 2nd & 3rd sets 25-17 & 25-15. MVP for Yeovil was captain #6 James. 3rd & last match of the triangular were Weymouth, with the Yeovil squad a player down from the 1st match due to injury. YVC narrowly lost the 1st set 25-23 as they settled into the new, enforced rotation. From there it seemed like the team were increasingly in gear as they went on to win the next 2 sets 25-20 & 25-16. However, Weymouth made full use of the strong squad that had travelled & brought the scores level, winning another tight 4th set 25-23. They managed to carry this momentum into the 5th & final set, winning 15-10.MVP for this match was #1 Alex. #volleyball #volleyballengland

Our junior girls team travelled to Bristol on Saturday to take part in the 3rd round of JuVo fixtures. The team continued their fantastic progress & were able to stay calm under pressure in some close games, winning four out of five matches & finishing 2nd overall in their competition, Skye was voted MVP by the team. #volleyball #volleyballengland

Our B&D Men's team played on Saturday with a "bare 6" squad. In the 1st match against Cardiff Celts the team won 2-0; MVP went to Ryan for his consistent performance at the net scoring crucial points & blocking well. The 2nd match was against top of the table UWE. Despite keeping the scoring tight, the team lost 2-0 (25-22 & 25-21). This game MVP went to Ethan for, again, all around consistency & hyping the team up when their heads dropped. #volleyball #volleyballengland
