They’re pretty much always social democrats/liberals/capitalists with some “progressive” views who like the idea of identifying with socialism but are spooked by things that they consider too radical. Anarchists to be fair have a legitimate ideological opposition to the state, hierarchy, and militarism. I don’t agree with them but I can understand them.
