Journalists, editors: One small thing you can do to push back on this criminal regime is use the Department of Defense's actual name, not the sham name the fascists made up outside the law. And that includes the actual title of Pete Hegseth's job, not the one he made up for himself. Until Congress decides those are the proper titles in the law, the made up fascist names should not be promulgated by U.S. news rooms. #journalism #media

I did my good deed today when picking up my AARP Tax Aide packet, an elderly lady who was also signing up said she didn't know how to answer the question of digital assets, she didn't know what that was. The two elderly ladies at the desk also looked boggled. I jumped in and said it means cryptocurrency, crypto, and if anybody tries to sell you any, it's a scam and don't spend your real money on it. They thanked me for that advice.

I've been watching this Korean #scifi #TV show called Moving & it's pretty good. And it's interesting to see a Korean production, how different it is from U.S. shows. It starts out about a couple of kids with superpowers who go to a high school that's somehow linked to a secret govt program to monitor people with superpowers. Later the show drifts into the backstories of their parents, who also have superpowers and previously worked for this black ops intelligence agency. I'm curious how the show will be brought back to the kids and how they'll discover their parents' secrets.

Danish, French and German military transport aircraft are currently transporting Danish and European soldiers and equipment to Greenland in an extensive operation. This is shown by publicly available flight tracking websites, and DR has learned this. The operation is very extensive and breaks the framework for what the Armed Forces have tried so far, a source tells DR. According to DR's information, the armament has been underway for several days and is intended to strengthen the military presence in Greenland and enable a possible defense of the kingdom. The Defense Command has declined to comment on DR's information. @Remittancegirl@mstdn.social I assume many of us in the U.S. #natsec community have understood this since the election a year ago. It's over. With the finality of being hit by a train, it was over at that moment. No allied nation should have continued sharing intelligence, I said so at the time. A MAGA America at the least can't be trusted, and at worst is an outright enemy of everything and everyone the country once stood for. It's sad that Congress members and others are so deluded as to think things might magically go back to "normal" when Trump is gone. Because what we proved is that it's not just Trump. It's Americans who are so depraved to have made this happen, it's their character at issue. No of course no one will trust America again. Because they're not stupid.

Tomorrow Trump is scheduled to pardon a turkey ahead of Thanksgiving, which is surprising, because as far as I know, no poultry of any kind were involved with the January 6 insurrection.
