I just found out that US-Canadian Olympic bobsledder, Kallie Humphries, is a Trumpster. It's always weird when, as a Black woman from the US, I meet a younger white woman whom I find generally nice & then over the course of our conversation (or later on) I learn that she's a Trump supporter. It's like cognitive dissonance. How can they talk to me "nicely" & also support a person who wants to erase my people's history, who fires Black men & women from the US govt & military & who is a racist?
