beware though: compiling kde-meta will take forever even with a decent machine if you don't have USE="-webengine"

@ilja@ilja.space if you configure less stuff to be built, either into the kernel or as modules it's goes faster
make localmodconfig writes a configuration for your running system (you might miss some modules for peripherals not currently plugged in)
