Yeah, I agree that the Biden Administration could have tried to do more to stop it. I use Roe v Wade as an example though since it's commonly used for the argument that Democrats and Republicans are the same...even though Biden wasn't the one who overturned it and was done by the supreme court that was appointed by Trump during his first term

Trump has been doing everything via executive orders which is why he has been able to bypass everything. I do agree that executive orders need to be nerfed if we ever get out of this mess. The problem with Democrats is that they play by the rules and Republicans don't, thus why Biden never spammed executive orders. Though it might all come back to haunt Trump eventually since there's thousands of lawsuits filed against him for all the times he misused executive orders. That's just wishful thinking on my part though.\

"Mishandled" was perhaps oversimplifying a little too hard, but it's not like the genocide was strictly committed by the Biden Administration. Biden's sin was only making a public statement for Israel to "improve the humanitarian conditions in Gaza" and then continuing to send military aid anyway.

Did Biden win the senate? Did he appoint the judges for the supreme court? I agree that he mishandled the conflict in Israel, but I not sure what Biden could have done to stop the abolishment of Roe v Wade as an example. If anything, he did a good job bringing us back to some sense of stability after Trump's 1st term ended in disaster. We should critize the Democrats for their mismanagement in that goal, but this consensus that Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same I've been seeing everywhere is ridiculous. It's a false equivalence fallacy

Is there? I can protest, but that’s more so to raise awareness and visibility than actually doing anything to overthrow the government. I suppose if I somehow rally enough support during a protest, then I might be able to pull my own January 6, but that’s assuming the coup will succeed. Furthermore, I’m not good at hacking government interfaces, nor am I a super soldier. So I have no skills related to toppling governments. That being said, what’s your suggestion in my position? Keep in mind, I have people who depend on me being alive right now, so I’m not going to go on a suicide mission that may or may not succeed. If it had a 100% chance of success, then maybe we could talk about it.

In a militaristic sense, yeah. We do send a trillion dollars on the army as deplorable and unnecessary that is, so the threat of invasion if you don’t comply is there.
However, why would Trump threaten to invade Canada and Greenland if the EU, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand has no autonomy of its own? They certainly wouldn’t be turning to China in response to all the tariffs and invasion threats if that was the case.

I mean, if anything I’m going to become a political descendant in the west if things keep up so I’m by no means trying to be a propaganda machine for the west, if I came off that way I apologize. However, I assumed you meant America specifically though because you mentioned “pedophile billionaires” which would imply that I’m a MAGA Chud that backs up or at least turns a blind eye to pedophilia as they are right now. Did this meme argue that social credit score doesn’t exist? Or is it whataboutism that argues that you can’t criticize the social credit system (real or not) because America has a credit score system. My point is, you can be against BOTH. That is all I’m saying here

Sure, let’s say it doesn’t since I admittedly haven’t looked into this in painful detail. However, this meme seems to suggest that if it did exist, then it would be perfectly fine on the virtue that credit scores exist in America. Aka, whataboutism.
Since Germany made concentration camps under the third reich that it isn’t that bad when America does it. At least by this logic. Guess it’s impossible to be against two things at once. Though I hope I’m just misinterpreting the point

Well, I forgot to mention that I don’t just use these audio files on my Linux machine. I use SyncThingy in order to use the same files on my phone as well (which runs LineageOS).
So, unless VLC for Android also has that feature, I would prefer a solution that works regardless of which platform I’m using, thus why I was looking to do re-encoding on Linux.
Though admittedly, I was also wondering if the answer was no because I thought I might have finally found a decent idea for a project

There’s also Tenacity, which is a fork of Audacity after it was bought by some company iirc. I was actually considering to use it to manually adjust the audio of each file. I didn’t know it had a normalize feature already though, guess it can just do the work for me then

Is there an application that stabilizes the volume level of downloaded mp3 files?
As someone who downloads or buys their music to listen to via VLC, it’s quite annoying when the volume level between files aren’t consistent. Especially when I’m unable to easily to change the volume like when I’m doing physical labor as an example. So it can go from a perfectly reasonable volume, to damaging my ears, and then to where I can barely hear.
I was thinking of going in and manually editing them myself to be consistent amongst each other at some point, but then it got me thinking.
Is there an application that will equalize the volume on your audio files for you? If not, would anyone else have a use for one besides me? I’d love to know either way.

Copyright can be used to in a good way. Unfortunately, its mostly used by big corporations as a battering ram to extract as much money as possible from smaller businesses and even just individuals
