Let me understand the argument:

The fediverse is unwelcoming to people whose labour was stolen for centuries because automated labour-stealing systems are widely opposed here.

Silly me, I thought it was the widespread racism and specifically anti-Blackness of a community dominated by white people who wailed and gnashed their teeth at codes of conduct for conferences where horrible things happened. I thought it was the result of ignoring people who recognised the threat of the GUY WITH THE ENORMOUS NAZI TATTOO who ran a coding educator off the Internet years before Gamergate oozed into existence. I thought it was ignoring people who recognised what the “alt-right” was doing on social media years before pale pundits acted like it emerged suddenly from thin air (next post in this thread is an article about this).

Shite moderation is the issue, not anti-AI opinions.
