In my local city, people die every year getting ran over on a bike. I knew a dr who didnt make it. I got close-lined off my bike once around 2017. Its part of the gang initiation to send someone to the hospital. I have a dent in my nose because of it. Its MUCH more dangerous in my area than most places though.
