@davidsudweeks @TiroTypeworks @timahrens That is dependent on the app’s linebreaking algorithms.
Current versions of Microsoft Word (Mac) and Adobe InDesign don’t break any series of periods in the middle, and attach them to a preceding word if there is no space in between. Seems good to me!
Apps often have additional special behaviors for extreme cases when they run out of other line break options. But in general these are working well, I think.
