@sonjdol I know he thinks this implies a deep strategic win by the plutocratic class and its drive to reverse centuries of human progress but I have to say I don’t think he really knows much about how working class people of any educational tier actually think, and how they will vote. Sure you can pull a Trump or Brexit once or twice if you control the media. But inequality and repression eventually bite and then the working classes eat the rich, burn their palaces, and behead kings
