@afx @0xabad1dea I think we were still calling those floppy disks in spite of being decidedly less floppy than the 5.25'' ones.
Also when I learned programming in 1993-1995 we were using 5.25'' in the former East bloc (Europe) so who knows, maybe China was, too.
