@davidlohner Pardon me for answering this in English. One reason I think so many plant scientists went to Blue Sky over Mastodon was because they were not looking for a community, but looking for a broadcasting network. So I think the most important thing about #SciComm here is that other comm - community. This means investment in being here & building relationships. It means being part of building the community.
So hashtags help, etc. but if the attitude is one of broadcasting without
