The original and the expansion are honestly flawless multiplayer games. Modern Warfare and its sequel perfected the bombastic cinematic war movie style campaign and addictive multiplayer progression loop. There is no reason to play a call of duty game beyond the first black ops (maybe MW3 just to see the conclusion of the story) but there have been, what 16 games since then?
