They might also believe that the UN resolution somehow only applies to imaginary villains from the DPRK developing nukes and laughing at people’s faces, rather than everyday people that do exist

Well to them, collective punishment is a great thing to people they don’t even consider human. Every accusation against DPRK is quite frankly pure projection and cope.
