@mayintoronto There's a recurring theme when I share recipes with my francophone friends. Using "courgette" often mixes up zucchini and squash... I find myself specifying the specific type of squash (butternut / acorn / spaghetti / etc.) when it's called for. :)
I also run into the whole french shallots vs. green onions thing regularly -- it's something folks confuse on a regular basis.
