@hughsie I think it would be great to get a lot of stats 📊 like growth over the years (vendors + products), and picture the potential for more. Stories of how things went, pointing out the role models among vendors and how they deployed their upgrades, being pretty positive overall might encourage other vendors to improve. I think they can be shown that upgrades are part of the competitive game, especially given recent regulations in the EU and other countries following along.
