@stephaniepixie yep yep yep. every time I see someone make a fatphobic joke about some fascist or fascists as a collective, it's a fun reminder that my fat ass is not safe with them and they would throw me under the bus at the drop of a hat. also really makes me question their actual commitment to their stated values, because fatphobia is a clue that they're probably also weird about disabled people, people of color, and anyone else they deem less-than or somehow unworthy.
