@chu @nev @hanktank61 I got a wide-eyed smile when I was buying Vitasoy from a Cantonese grocery in SF Chinatown and said "do zhe." Apparently even in San Francisco that was unexpected from random Irish-Americans. Probably best that I didn't explain that it was only because I'd picked up a tiny handful of phrases from watching Hong Kong films. 😅 (The Towne theater in San Jose had screenings every Sunday in the 90s and I probably went twice a month.)
