It'll feel weird without Wash and Book. I hope Zoe gets better character development, instead of being defined by all the men around her (a classic Whedon "strong female character"), and I also hope they actually do something with River and her backstory beyond turning her into a superninja. And maybe this one won't get killed after thirteen episodes.
