Do you remember when housing was actually affordable for average Americans? Friends in Minneapolis recently paid $400k for a house that in 1995 sold for $150k. Personally from my monetary mindset, I can’t imagine the house payment. The house we (spouse and I) paid $210k for in 1993 is now valued at $600 (3000sf).
Apartments? My God, today you pay to rent, what my mortgage used to be. 🤷🏽♂️
