@elduvelle @kofanchen @albertcardona I'm absolutely open to the idea that this paper is as wrong as you say it is. Like I say, not my area. But even if so, that happens in science (surprisingly often) and some of those papers can set back a field for years. This one is less likely to do that because of the easily accessible opinion of the reviewers.
