@TimothyRoes @Garwboy That was written 20 years ago when this whole field was different. (Also it’s paywalled so I did not read the whole thing.) Certainly it is possible to have a positive creative relationship with these tools and use them to empower your thinking and writing. But that’s not what people are doing; we are instead drowning the collective history and memory of our species in so much mechanically produced word salad that ‘writing’ is in danger of losing all meaning.
