I remain convinced that Ink & Switch (https://inkandswitch.com/) is doing some of the most interesting and thoughtful work on software interaction, design, and user experience being shown publicly, and the things they're publishing are wildly underappreciated outside their niche.

(I just hope more of their projects are released as open source and get traction publicly. They're the sort of things that get way better if they're supported by most of the tools you use, and it feels like a narrow window is opening for that.)
