We look up at the Moon and see one side facing us. I wonder how history would have changed if we had looked up at a moon that was constantly turning. Would we recognize that it was a sphere? Would we then realize that we too were on a sphere? Would it have catapulted our scientific knowledge by centuries?
Or would we have just made up some fairy tale about why the Moon changes.
