Quick public service announcement.

The US government is now officially and openly posting fake AI images (both doctored and outright fabricated) and passing them off as real.

While we've seen some examples of this in the past, and there has been speculation on others, it is now openly brazen with two official sources having posted contradictory images.

Example Link - Original Image from Secretary Kristi Noem's official account - Image blurs out govt agent face, but it otherwise *appears* as a normal image and shows arrested individual with a relaxed dignified face: https://x.com/Sec_Noem/status/2014357826081071513?s=20
