You’re basically saying everyone has to get PhDs and only ever talk as as if they are an academic conference. Otherwise they should shut up and not be bale to ever contribute to any conversation. Do you not see the patent absurdity of that expectation?

No, I’m absolutely not saying that. I’m saying we should normalize having sources and not just blindly repeating a thing we heard.
