my gen x/boomer first-generation indian immigrant dad was asking me today if i'd heard about "the great replacement theory", that mass immigration is a ploy to ensure a slave class of labour, that it's terrible for young people these days, that we should essentially genocide muslims, and "there should be a revolution" it is interesting to me that these extremist talking points have filtered down to his sky news/fox news boomer level and are being normalised at that level, i don't know what that means for the future
