I think that anytime a company sends out a "our privacy policies have changed" email there should be a button on the email to quickly and easily delete your account and associated data.
I get these emails from companies I don't even remember signing up for. retrieving my password, trying to delete my account, not being able to because I changed my phone number, sitting on hold with customer service -- like, all of this is should not be the burden of the consumer.
