Tonight’s movie was Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die (2026).
A man claiming to be from the future arrives at a diner to recruit people to help him save the future from an AI apocalypse. Would you volunteer? Gerald would, but he shouldn’t.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is a high concept dark comedy with a serious central message. This movie is hyper off kilter with some very memorable characters and performances.
Sam Rockwell is awesome in any movie and he is absolutely captivating in this movie. The opening scene with him in the diner is fantastic and I can’t imagine any other actor doing that scene as good as Rockwell did.
The score for the film by Geoff Zanelli matches the weirdness of the film perfectly.
We need more original movies like Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die. I highly recommend this movie.
Rated 9 out of 10.
