#WritersCoffeeClub 3/3. On what are you unwilling to compromise? In general or just writing? I am not a perfectionist in writing - my passing grade is "definitely good enough". But in life generally? I am an extremely principled person, so quite a lot of things. But lets keep it simple (and vaguely connected to writing): generative AI. For me that's a hard no in every circumstance (and include coding AI). I block fans of it, apologists for it, or even "yes but it can be okay..." people. I understand how it works (I mean *really*) so I've always known it was guaranteed to generate shit and, at best, be mediocre. It is 100% destructive, there is no upside. (Even medical applications are problematic but for different reasons.) #writing #writingCommunity
