A surefire way to get kids to do something is to tell them they can’t.

Anecdotal evidence but I saw one parent say their 9 year old asked them to play outside with them. Kids want attention, thats why social media is so dangerous for them.
I work with kids and except for legit ipad babies, kids treat cellphones like a backup when there’s nothing better to do… like playing games with other kids or engaging their parents/role-models.
I personally see zero downsides to this. I genuinely hope Canada follows suite.
