Oh god... someone linked a 4k version of Bjork's All Is Full Of Love - one of my favourite music videos which was definitely shot in SD.

Comparing it to an SD upload from 18 years ago I can see the 4k version's upscaling AI is trying to make sense of phantom motions caused by the compression artefacts of the previous upload. Ugh!

Can we please not just eat all of the pixels of such beautiful art? And certainly not make up a bunch of new ones...

I am forever cursed to notice graphical artefacts everybody else ignores.
