20 Years of Twitter/X – An Exciting Field of Research for the Social Sciences
“just setting up my twttr” – The first tweet that co-founder Jack Dorsey posted on the newly created platform on March 21, 2006, has since become world-famous. Over the following 20 years, Twitter/X evolved into such an important and central platform for communication and interaction that it has long since become a subject of social science research.
