Here’s a cool #vinylrecord (but it’s not vinyl). Purpur Spytt’s 2024 album ‘Scavenges, Time-travels, and Scrapbooks’ is not pressed in vinyl but individually lathe-cut(!) into upcycled LaserDiscs. (Also the sleeves are LD-sleeves turned inside out and silkscreened).
Typeface and design by “is there anything she can’t do!?” @SophieWietlisbach (of Impact Type fame). Cut by Grand Voyage Records.
