Bellingcat and Josimar identified the representative of an Asian bookmaker who used a false name to sign a sponsorship deal with Croatia’s national football team ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
In 2024, the Croatian Football Federation signed a deal with gambling site Dragon Z6 as its “exclusive betting partner” across Asia. Dragon Z6’s representative, named on screen was "Alexander Smith".
