This week we're into the first two chapters of Milton Friedman's Capitalism and Freedom, one of the most influential economics books ever written and the intellectual backbone of the neoliberal era.

Friedman has a lot to say about freedom. The problem is that he doesn't appear to have thought very hard about what it actually is.

Today we're covering Isaiah Berlin, Hannah Arendt, the anarchist and Black feminist traditions, and ask what all of it means for the world Friedman's ideas actually built — the one we're living in right now.
