During the night of 9th-10th March 1945, the Japanese city of Tokyo was firebombed by the United States Army Air Forces. B-29 bombers dropped more than 1,600 tons of incendiary devices, and killed over 100,00 people, mainly women, children, and elderly civilians. #FactsMatter
