Backup terjadwal ke remote sudah berjalan sejak jaman dahulu. Sekarang backup ke pc sebelah dulu sebelum kita upgrade ke #fedora44 biar hati tenang tenteram dan tidak bakal tantrum karena restore-nya bisa gegas kalo terjadi sesuati diluar perkiraan.

Fedora Linux 44 was released today!
I’ve been running the prerelease/beta since mid-February, and it’s been rock solid 🙂
Highlights:
- GNOME 50 on Workstation
- KDE Plasma 6.6 + Plasma Login Manager
- PackageKit now backed by DNF5
- NTSYNC enabled for better Wine/Steam performance
- MariaDB 11.8 by default
- LLVM 22 + GCC 16.1 toolchain updates
- Nix package tool added
KDE KMail still segfaults for me when interacting with GPG, but that’s literally the only issue I’ve encountered in 2.5 months of usage.

Finally I was able to upgrade my #FedoraSilverblue test VM to #Fedora44 .
I had to wait for the cisco repository to be updated with the openh264 codec for 44.
And then, with only 3 deployments, my /boot partition was to full to be able to finish the deployment of fedora 44, so I had to manually remove a deployment.
