Watching Ben Affleck in the bath in #Daredevil makes me wonder when mass-market lightweight active noise cancelling headphones became available, and whether they were easy to get in 2003. A quick bit of research turns up that #Bose, for one, had been selling them on the consumer market since the start of the century, and as specialist aviation items since the 1980s. #headphones
