My thoughts about #Markiplier's #IronLung I normally hate horror movies. I'm very jumpy. This, this is what I think about when I think "horror". I had no doubts that Mark knows what he's doing. No wonder the movie has the world record for most fake blood used in a movie, ho-ly. It might be a bit too gory towards the end for some people, I was fine. I LOOOVE that he leaned a lot into the whole "being locked in a room for a long time makes you go insane"-thing. Mental topics are really my thing. The soundtrack is something else. I like when it's more than just music that's there, and the composer did that really well by lining the music up to the sounds inside the sub at some places. Having the whole movie play from inside the sub is an interesting choice, but Mark wrote around that very well. It feels like the rare kind of plot that shows everything in a third person view but still plays inside the protagonist's head so to speak. Now for the kinda bad things: I'm not a huge fan of the ending. It was satisfying enough to not piss me off, but I'm still wondering about what happens next (and not in the good way). Secondly: The sound. Maybe it was an issue with the cinema I was in (UCI Am Eastgate Berlin), but it felt unbalanced and too quiet at times. I think that's all, but when I think of sth else, I'll update the post.

Gonna see the #Markiplier movie today. Can't wait for Mr Iplier to look directly into the camera and say his catchphrase "Tis I, Ron Lung" and then take off into the sky on his cyborg breath. #IronLung
