Il corteo, organizzato dal sindacato Usb, da Potere al Popolo, dai movimenti studenteschi come Cambiare Rotta e Osa, è partito da piazza della Repubblica intorno alle 15 e ha raggiunto piazza San Giovanni. “Intanto diciamo no al referendum che ci sarà fra una settimana – dichiara Guido Lutrario, dell’esecutivo nazionale Usb – diciamo anche no alla guerra, soprattutto perché c’è di fatto un sostegno politico, non c’è una condanna esplicita, il governo ha un atteggiamento complice nei confronti del conflitto”. Durante il corteo sono stati bruciati dei cartelli raffiguranti Giorgia Meloni che tiene al guinzaglio il ministro della Giustizia Carlo Nordio, oltre che delle foto di Netanyahu, di Trump e della bandiera statunitense. In piazza anche una barella con l’impersonificazione “malata” della Costituzione, circondata da finti medici. “La Costituzione è molto fiacca – racconta una delle organizzatrici della rappresentazione – abbiamo il virus del fascismo, la febbre del capitalismo e quindi per salvarla andremo a votare no”. Il Fatto Quotidiano: “Ripetete con me: dalla parte dell’Italia”: il nuovo tormentone di Montaruli (Fdi) nell’intervento alla Camera “Da che parte sta il governo dalla parte del diritto internazionale o dalla parte di Trump e Netanyahu?”. Questa la domanda che ha attraversato Camera e Senato e si è ripetuta più volte negli interventi di tanti esponenti dei partiti di opposizione al governo Meloni nella giornata in cui il Parlamento ha affrontato la crisi in Iran e la discussione intorno al prossimo Consiglio Europeo. A questa domanda risponde, dai banchi di Fratelli d’Italia Augusta Montaruli con un tormentone: “Da che parte stiamo della storia? Dalla parte dell’Italia… Ripetete con me: da che parte siamo posizionate sullo scacchiere internazionale? Dalla parte dell’Italia, testardamente dalla parte dell’Italia. L’opposizione non ce la fa a dirlo”. Si ricorderà che Montaruli è abituata a queste tecniche di comunicazione come quando scandì per decine di volte il verso “bau” durante un talk show televisivo accompagnato – nello stupore generale dal gesto della mano che mimava la bocca di un cane. Una reazione, spiegò, all’esponente del Pd che le aveva ricordato la condanna definitiva per peculato per aver speso soldi pubblici per acquisti che non avevano niente a che vedere con la politica. Augusta Montaruli, from Brothers of Italy, responded to this question with a catchphrase: “Which side are we on in history? The side of Italy… Repeat after me: which side are we positioned on the international chessboard? The side of Italy, stubbornly the side of Italy.” The opposition couldn't bring itself to say it. Montaruli is accustomed to these communication techniques, as evidenced by her repeated the word “bau” dozens of times during a television talk show, accompanied by the gesture of hand miming the mouth of a dog. She explained that this reaction was in response to the Pd representative who had reminded her of her final conviction for embezzlement for spending public funds on purchases that had nothing to do with politics.
