Secondo quanto riporta Itv News, le immagini sarebbero state scattate intorno al '99-2000, prima della condanna di Epstein per pedofilia, avvenuta in Florida nel 2008. In accappatoio La foto mostra Andrea e Mandelson indossare accappatoi mentre sono seduti accanto a Epstein attorno un tavolo di legno su un terrazzo all'aperto. I tre sono ritratti mentre bevono da tazze con, sopra, la bandiera degli Stati Uniti. Secondo i media, la foto sarebbe stata scattata a Martha's Vineyard, l'isola davanti al Massachusetts, e fa parte dei file del caso Epstein rilasciati a fine gennaio. L'immagine ha richiamato quella inclusa nel cosiddetto "birthday book", il libro di auguri per i cinquant'anni di Epstein, in cui Mandelson appariva in accappatoio. L'ex ambasciatore aveva definito il finanziere il suo "migliore amico". Agi: Petrolio: oggi vertice di emergenza del G7 sulle riserve strategiche AGI - I ministri delle finanze del G7 discuteranno di un possibile rilascio congiunto di petrolio dalle riserve, coordinato dall'Agenzia internazionale per l'energia, in una riunione di emergenza che si terrà oggi, volta a contrastare l'impennata dei prezzi del petrolio in seguito al conflitto nel Golfo. Lo riporta il Financial Times. Secondo fonti vicine alla situazione, tra cui un alto funzionario del G7, i ministri e Fatih Birol, direttore esecutivo dell'AIE, terranno una chiamata alle 8.30 (ora di New York) per discutere dell'impatto della guerra con l'Iran. Finora, sempre secondo fonti citate dal Financial Times, tre paesi del G7, tra cui gli Stati Uniti, hanno espresso il loro sostegno all'idea. I 32 membri dell'Aie detengono riserve strategiche nell'ambito di un sistema di emergenza collettivo progettato per fronteggiare le crisi dei prezzi del petrolio. Shaft is a 1970 detective novel by Ernest Tidyman. It is the first novel in the John Shaft novel series. The novel debuted the character John Shaft and inspired both the 1971 film Shaft and its sequels. - Wikipedia It is strange to read a book and keep hearing the theme music of the film in my head, but that is what happens when you read a book after hearing the soundtrack all your life! I bought an original of the soundtrack by Issac Hayes for 50p in an Oxfam in the 80s before I saw the film. As for the novel, it is a pulpy, gripping crime tale set in early 70s New York. Shaft is most definitely misogynistic, homophobic, and antisemitic, and this seemed to be tacitly approved by white author Tidyman, but maybe just reflecting the world and the attitudes a character like Shaft would be likely to have. #Shaft #ErnestTidyman #Novels #Reading #blaxploitation #privateeye #NewYork
