L'Unità: Famiglia distrutta, ladri in fuga provocano incidente nell’inseguimento: morti padre, madre e figlio Distrutta una famiglia in un incidente stradale a Roma: padre, madre e figlio morti nell’impatto causato da un’altra automobile che fuggiva in un inseguimento scattato dopo il rifiuto a fermarsi all’alt di una pattuglia della Polizia. La corsa è culminata nello scontro quanto l’auto in fuga ad alta velocità ha invaso l’altra corsia e si è schiantata contro la vettura su cui viaggiava la famiglia. All’interno dell’auto tre uomini, tutti di origini sudamericane, arrestati per omicidio stradale. La fuga era scattata al Quarticciolo ed è terminata in via Collatina. Il conducente avrebbe ignorato l’ordine degli agenti e avrebbe continuato la sua corsa. Alla macchina della Polizia, nell’inseguimento, si è aggiunta un’altra vettura dei Carabinieri. In via Collatina l’auto in fuga ha invaso il senso di marcia opposto e si è scontrata con l’auto su cui viaggiava la famiglia. Sul posto sono intervenuti i Vigili del Fuoco, i sanitari del 118, diverse pattuglie della Polizia Locale di Roma Capitale dei Gruppi VI Torri, V Casilino e VII Tuscolano. L’impatto è stato violentissimo: due delle vittime sono morte sul colpo, un’altra poco dopo. Avevano 70 e 64 anni i genitori, 41 anni il figlio. La famiglia era residente a Guidonia. Nessuna grave conseguenza per i tre uomini in fuga, tutti di nazionalità sudamericana. Due in ospedale, al Policlinico Tor Vergata e al Sandro Pertini, un altro è stato fermato. Arrestati con le accuse di omicidio stradale, resistenza a pubblico ufficiale, violazione degli obblighi verso funzionari, ufficiali e agenti, e porto di oggetti atti allo scasso. All’interno dell’abitacolo sono stati infatti trovati e sequestrati cacciaviti e jammer. Le indagini sulla dinamica dell’incidente sono tuttora in fase di svolgimento da parte del VI Gruppo Torri della Polizia Locale. The three fleeing men sustained no serious injuries, all of South American nationality. Two are in hospital, at the Tor Vergata Policlinico and the Sandro Pertini, and the third was apprehended. The men were arrested on charges of causing a fatal road accident, resisting a public official, violating obligations towards officials, officers, and police officers, and carrying prohibited items. Screwdrivers and jammers were found and seized inside the vehicle.
