“Intimate” is a completely subjective term. Some people, like it or not, don’t consider nudity to be intimate and are therefore more than happy to use it to their advantage. Just because you wouldn’t, doesn’t make you the arbiter or what is or isn’t considered intimate. So, as you say “Clearly being the more preferable job” is a meaningless statement. A vegan wouldn’t rent out their body to work in a slaughterhouse. A pacifist wouldn’t rent out their body to the military. Just because you wouldn’t rent out your body for people to enjoy on the internet doesn’t make it objectively worse than any other profession. It’s just your perspective. I’m not saying that there aren’t issues in the porn industry. Of course there are, tonnes of them. But renting out your body to perform manual labour or renting out your body for people to look at on the internet are not as different as you think.

if someone has to grant access to their body, under threat of starvation or homelessness But that’s employment in a nutshell, though. A welder rents out his body to a company to weld steel beams for 8 hours a day. An accountant rents out their body to sit behind a desk for 8 hours a day and crunch numbers. A salesperson rents out their body to cold-call for 8 hours a day. No matter what, we’re coerced into giving or body to perform someone else’s labour. The fact that it doesn’t always involve nudity doesn’t change anything vis a vis your bodily autonomy.

8 has always been my favourite. As long as I resist the urge to draw spam. It can get repetively easy if you just draw and cast magic from your enemy, never having to use your own resources.

For most games, it depends on *who* you're asking. I, for example, hate multiplayer looter-shooters, so the most overrated game to ME would be Fortnite. It literally hold no attraction for me and the thought of even playing it makes me shudder. However, the universal answer is really any EA sports title. It's literally the same game every...damn...year....

I use it on an older Ticwatch C2+ with gadget bridge. I like it. It works well for what I need it for. They just released 2.0, which means it's still actively developed (though development is slow) My only issue is that with newer versions of android, something about the bluetooth makes it disconnect randomly. Don't know if that's just my device, or my phone, or common. But I randomly have to forget the device and re-pair it. Which is kind of annoying.

nano is usually built in. Adding another one is just redundant if all you’re using it for is editing an occasional config file. Honestly never understood the hate for it. Who cares? Petty, stupid, nerd-wars over little crap like a text editor is the reason average people don’t even consider linux.

Kathryn Bigelow’s most under-rated film is almost upon us…just 30 years later than we thought. Also…if you haven’t seen that movie…go watch it. It’s low-key one of her best.

The “I don’t agree with” people are also the believers that homosexuality is a choice. (It’s not…every sane person knows that it’s not.) So when they’re saying “I dont agree with” what they mean is “I don’t agree with the choice a person makes to be gay”

What exactly does Apple think that they're brining to the equation in order to *deserve* that 30? Is it simply that they're hosting an app on their store, so therefore they're entitled to a cut? So if I write a novel, and get it published, Microsoft can say "We deserve 30% because you used *our* product to produce your product? I'm so fucking tired of corporations. It's well past guillotine-o-clock.

It’s only a matter of time. I want nothing to do with any company that is giving so called “A.I” the time of day.

Well…fuck Udemy I guess. One of my old employers used to pay out small bonus incentives onto a prepaid credit card for each staff member, and I called it my “fun money” that I would invariably spend on Udemy enrolling in whatever seemed interesting to me. It was truly enjoyable and I feel like I’m a more well rounded person because of it. And now AI is going to fuck all of that. I want to learn from PEOPLE, not LLM’s cosplaying as A.I.

Did Robotaxi just flat out steal the Cyberpunk font in order to try to look cool? It seems like a very Musk thing to do.
