We all know the United States isn't banning gas stoves because of health or the environment, if we weren't born yesterday. Ignoring all the gross destruction of environment and public health the US allows, it still doesn't add up. 70% of us electricity is generated from natural gas. It's much less efficient to turn it into electricity, transport it and then turn it into heat. What it is is more expensive for consumers.
