At a nerd con with friends, and this afternoon I managed to go about two hours in costume before I realized I was missing my giant piece of shoulder armor. I only clued in when I noticed I wasn’t so wide as to cause problems in crowds, which is what happens when I remember the armor.

Humans aren’t scarce. No one thinks this.

Engineers are paid more than the capital class wants to pay. And they would like writing code to become unskilled labor.
AI doesn’t really do that, you have to know what you want and how you want it to work, but the fiction is selling AI and I just want people to say what they mean.

I am almost finished the costume that needs to be in my car by 8am tomorrow. And now I have to pack and check my other costumes. And I have to sleep because I’m driving 8 hours.
This is a disaster.

It really is kind of hilarious how if someone is a piece of shit, they’re in those emails. (With some caveats around timeframe of public shittiness)
