I think the 90’s to maybe early 2010’s were the quietest US streets ever were. With the EPA “relaxing” noise regs, and the ridiculous availability of aftermarket stuff that should never be used, the traffic is incredibly loud.
I know and I’m sorry for my yelling at clouds.

You won’t believe me, but the UScourts are pretty ok at rejecting truly frivolous lawsuits.
Every counter example you’re probably thinking of was a legit suit for good reasons, but the corporate losers have successfully reverse-branded the outcome so you think it was stupid.
Take the McDonalds hot coffee suit. What happened is exactly opposite all the headlines and one liners.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
