For the past few years, I have been a part of a typographic travel event in northern Italy called TipoItalia. It’s a two-week creative residency where you’ll have the chance to do letterpress printing, tour cool cities looking at hand-painted signs, and visit museums that hold AMAZING historical printed posters and books all devoted to Italian typography, culminating with a new digital font you will design yourself with the help of expert instructors.

This year we are offering two scholarships. If you — or a student or colleague — might benefit, I encourage you to apply and share the opportunity. The application deadline is March 1. Visit tipoitalia.net for all the details.
