⚠️ Windows 11 KB5077181 Security Update Fixes Boot Failures Linked to Failed Updates

Microsoft’s February 10, 2026, security update KB5077181 for Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 25H2 resolves a bug that caused some commercial devices to fail to boot with "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" BSOD errors after installing earlier updates.

The issue affected systems left in an improper state after a failed December 2025 update, with Microsoft confirming the fix is now included in the February Patch Tuesday release and later updates.
